MACO is faced with a large number of laws, regulations and directives that impose specific restrictions on the use of chemicals and materials. The most well-known material compliance regulations, the European chemicals regulation REACH or the EU RoHS directive, are at the centre of interest.

The aim is to reduce the risks posed by the product to people and the environment, to protect against harmful substances and to curb the uncontrolled extraction of protected raw materials.

We keep an eye on all the regulations that are relevant for our products in the various sales markets. They are a further component of our requirements management and part of the material database.
